Taylor is finally starting to sleep more at night, sometimes getting as much as 5 hours in a row! That is helping me a lot! Now if only I could get to sleep as SOON as she does, I could get 5 hours too! But I cant seem to do it, it is still taking me about 40 minutes to fall asleep. And that is not when my husband’s snoring is keeping me up longer! LOL We have GOT to find a fix for that- nose strips don’t work at all. I have been working hard on the baby book, when I get a chance, and finished a few more pages, I am hoping to be cought up soon and will order a book to cover all the layouts from pregnancy to six months, maybe even to only three months since most photo books have a limit on the number of pages, and charge a lot more to add a lot. I have so many done already- if I did pregnancy to one year it would be like 200 pages! Wayyy to big!

I get asked a lot about how to get started in blogging, well, the first step is figuring out what you want to write about, then one of the next steps is to get website hosting,you can even make money selling hosting. I love the site linked because they list the top hosting companies, prices, reviews and everything, a one stop shopping starter. For beginners there are a lot of articles to help explain everything. I am not going to reinvent the wheel here and try to explain the process, since there are so many other articles already written with that information.

Once you get hosting and your domain name set up you will want to visit wordpress.org and get your blog installed, most hosting companies have an option in the set up to get this done for you, makes it so much easier! After that just work on making your blog yours, by carefully considering the name, design, subject, and writing style you can have a blog that you not only love to update but that people love to read. Blogging can be a great way to keep family updated, work out stress, all while making money (it takes months to get to make money from a blog, you have to be patient.) Purple Baby! Thrush meds! arggg!

Had to share this! Taylor got thrush last week (yeast infection of the mouth. One of the natural treatments was to use genation violet in her mouth- which stained it purple!! It was adorable and I just had to take a picture. It is all cleared up now and she is not purple anymore, thank goodness! Thrush was NO fun!

Paranoid…. normal?

I am one of those mothers… I see commercials for cerebral palsy lawyers and asbestos, and get so scared of exposing my baby to anything that could cause that! I get paranoid about everything! I am sure it is normal, but since the seizures every little twitch or strange cry gets analyzed- I need to take a chill pill, my poor hubby is probably getting tired of me calling!

Time for a new Pot

Shopping the sale again at Buy.com, this time looking for a new coffee maker, I probably wont get one just yet, gonna wait till tax return time so I can get a cool one. I have a little 4 cup one right now and that was fine when I drank a cup or two a day, but now I have been drinking at least 8 cups a day, and need something bigger- I would love one like the Deluxe Brewstation or the Hamilton Beach BrewStation Plus 12-Cup Coffeemaker, I like those a lot, the main thing for me is the not burning, since I drink through the day, the glass pots get tasting burnt after a bit, and I like to be able to get it when I want it, not have a time limit! LOL Those actually are not as expensive as I thought they would be, at wal-mart they have one in the store that is kinda like what I want but it is like 150! I think NOT!

Get me away from this site before I decide to buy! LOL I need to not shop just yet- payday is friday!! I cant help it, I get the emails with the sales and I get into it!

My best friends birthday is tonight, I was thinking about getting her some sexy lingerie but since they live with her boyfriends parents that might not be cool! LOL I will be heading to a little get together in her honor tonight, while Joseph watches the baby, so my curfew is early, it is a work day for him tomorrow! :-) Anyway- happy birthday tiffy!

I was out shopping on Saturday and the early voting place was open. I decided to stop- I had planned on voting anyway, but being able to avoid long lines on Tuesday with a baby was a definite plus! I dont call myself a republican, I am a registered independent, but voted for McCain because I believe he is our best option. From what I know. Don’t want a big political discussion- I was just proud I actually voted this year, it was my first time! I made the layout last night, used kit called politics as usual by Sweet Shoppe Designs.

Christmas is coming!

This will be Taylor’s first christmas! I am so exited! I am going to talk to Joseph about looking at some dollhouses for her, they are the neatest toys! I would really like us to make her one, a nice one for her to have and pass on, and then get another she can be really rough with! LOL I love the idea of making a real doll house, the ones that look just like real houses and little furniture and everything. Not that the plastic ones are not nice, but I think it would be cool to have a heirloom one too.

The cops are at the neighbors again, he was out there shooting a rifle in his back yard- this is a neighborhood! On top of that he is on probation and is not suppost to have a gun at all! Of course he probably had the gun hidden by the time the cops got there, so no jail for him. I wish they would hurry and catch him in the act so he would get the heck out of here! Makes me want to look at Wilmington NC real estate, a freiend lives there and posted fall pictures- BEAUTIFUL! And no bad neighbors! LOL Yeah right, I would probably get a worse one!

Huh? What DOES my husband do?

I never know what my husband is talking about he will get home and be talking about work and say thinks like sprocket turning and industrial knobs and flexible steel burning and all I can do is nod! I know he works with steel, and he manages the office, but as many times as he has tried to explain the chain bearings and steel pallets I just dont get it! Lucky for me I dont have to. LOL A while back we had a neighbor in trouble so the police were going around talking to everyone, I was startled and flustered when they came to me and he asked what my husband did and my reply was “steel stuff” LOL The police officer looked at me funny and I realized what I said and had to backtrack and explain that I meant steel, like metal and sprockets, not STEAL!! LOL The guy got a real laugh out of that one! He now knows never to talk to a woman fresh out of a shower with a towel on her head!
