Mothers day has sneaked up on us this year, last year we were able to get mothers day gifts for everyone and even have flowers delivered, this year we are so tight the most we are able to do is some e-cards. I feel so bad, I really anted to do something more special than last year but between the baby coming and time, we just cant. It sucks :-( I will make up for it next year though, flowers and more. Sorry mom! Depending on his check and when the tax rebate comes in we may be able to do a little something, but I doubt it.

I don’t know what, if anything Joseph has planned for mothers day, knowing him it will either be something big and special or nothing at all. I am fine with either, he has been working so much lately, I don’t blame him if he forgets. I am not gonna remind him.

I have a dear friend who’s boyfriend probably needs some sort of alcohol rehab, he is just pitiful when he drinks, and late to work today because of it. Sad I know. I have to be thankful I am with someone who does not have a problem, if anything my hubby has a problem of not drinking enough! LOL Sometimes I want to shove a beer in his hand and say CHILL! But I am still lucky, he could have a problem and not have a job and be a complete loser, goodness knows I have gone THERE before!

Joseph has been so good to me lately, cleaning, cooking, etc. I am looking into getting him something as a surprise for easter to show him my appreciation for everything, I am really liking the idea of one of these Seiko watches for him, he needs one. I see quite a few I like, mainly the sporty ones. I have to look at the budget some but I think we can do it. He deserves something nice for all he has been doing lately. He is my hero.

If nothing else, I mean, if we can’t afford it I am gonna get him a nice card and a little mini basket and maybe a video game, we will see, anything is better than nothing… right?

Its a special time when a couple falls in love. Its almost as the world stop turning and all the stress in the world disappears. Be confident. When I say be confident, I mean to have confidence in yourself. If you know who you are and have a plan for your own happiness, you won’t be intimidated by other people. It means knowing what you like, how you want to be treated, and knowing that you can accomplish goals which you have set for yourself. Of course it’s possible to have too much, but you can measure that in your own way.

Learn to listen. Sometimes people just want to talk, and all the right words can be said simply by listening and not saying anything. It is a way for you to show interest in something that means so much to the other party. Ask questions, let them talk and feel important. There will be plenty of time to talk about yourself, but show the other person that you care by simply listening to the things which they have to say. Sometimes, no words can go a long way.

Be nice. We have all heard the phrase that nice guys finish last, well, if you are looking into falling in love; think about how you want to be treated. The golden rule can provide you with more direction than you may think. You will see that in doing this, people will notice your kindness; these types of things never go unnoticed.
