My older two go to school full-time, it’s me and the baby from 8:30 am until nap time at 12:45 til 2:45 pm I try to write my post for the next day during nap time and I use 4 am til 6:30 am to do the Entrecard gig, answering comments, leaving comments, etc.
I’d like to have more time but those darn kids keep showing up at the most inopportune times, you know?

I will be doing features like this more often, so subscribe to my feed to keep up!

My Daily Routine

schedule.gifAlways looking to improve my time management, I decided to do a post outlining my daily routine, this way both you and I can analyze it and I can see where I need to change. Full time blogging is an adventure, and trying to stay focused while working can be difficult.

I usually start my day around 7 am, sometimes even 6:30, for the first half hour I am still waking up, drinking about 3-4 cups of coffee. Once I am awake the adventure begins!

7-8am ~ Entre Card dropping, advertising, and commenting.
8-8:30am ~ Checking and responding to email. Taking action where needed.
8:30-9:30am ~ Trying to write one pillar article for both blogs.

So, I would like to hear your schedule, post a comment or write a post, I will add yours to the post with a link back!

Freebies!

free.gifWe all love freebies, here are some for your reading pleasure! Feel free to add your freebie connections, I may even add them to the post with a link back to your site!

  • Annual Credit Report.com - The official service provided by the three credit bureaus (Equifax, Experian and TransUnion) for consumers to request and obtain a free credit report (once every 12 months) from all 3 companies.
  • Craigslist.com - Everybody’s favorite site for free classifieds. Find a job, sell a car, get an apartment, give away your empty boxes. If you need to find or unload pretty much anything, this is the site.
  • FreeCycle.com - It is a grassroots and nonprofit site where people are giving away & getting stuff for free in their own community. It’s all about reuse and keeping good stuff out of landfills. It is sort of like Craig’s list, but where everything is free.
  • 1-800-free-411 - Call (or visit the web site) and get your free directory listings. It’s just like 411, but there is a brief (about 20 seconds) recorded ad before you can get your listing and of course it doesn’t cost anything.
  • Silver Jewelry Club- very cool site, get tons of jewelry on special for 5.99 and under, I’ve used this many times, it is GREAT!

Happy For No Reason

We all know I believe in positive thinking and power of reading. So when I saw the opp to review The Sedona Method, I jumped on it. They are selling courses like the Secret and Happy For No Reason with a Free DVD and CD.

This quote is from the excerpt from Happy For No Reason, I love it!

If you let go a little
You will have a little peace.
If you let go a lot
You will have a lot of peace.
If you let go completely
You will have complete peace.

The Venerable Ajahn Chah, 20th century Buddhist monk

Ok, so whats my fascination with these things? Well, a while back I was very very depressed and made some dumb mistakes that landed me in the hospital, on a respirator, dylasis and seizures. It was not pretty, it was darned scary honestly, I woke up with a tub down my mouth, breathing for me, hands tied down so I wouldn’t pull the thing out and my entire family around the bed. I had NO IDEA what happened, if I was in a wreck, fire, anything, I just didn’t know.

Fast forward and I got into some therapy where we used power thought cards, positive CD’s and worksheets to better understand our problems and get a better outlook. It changed my life, I have not attempted or even gotten that low again to try that. Now I routinely listen to audio CD’s about being positive and changing your outlook on life, every one from Louise Hay, now to The sedona method.

I never thought I would feel good again, but after only 1 month of this therapy I was already feeling better. I still have my moments, we all do, right? By keeping these and others like it in my arsenal I have a fighting chance against depression and suicide. If you are feeling depressed, get help, be it therapy or on your own by getting things like this and Louise Hay books and CD’s, you got to do something because waking up in a hospital bed, tied down and scared is no fun!
