Beauty Tips for Skin

I just emailed the link to the R.G. Skin Revitalizerto my hubby, as a hint to get it for me :-) I am not subtle! I would love to try it, even if it is fourty something dollars, if it works it would be worth it, and if it doesn’t, well lesson learned! But I cant find out without trying it!

He didn’t get me a birthday present so hopefully he will get this for me as a late birthday present. It is really cool, it is a pill you take like a vitamin to help nourish your skin from the inside, kinda like how carrots are good for your eyes (I think… or is it turnips?) Anyway, I want to try these natural ways to help my skin so I don’t have to get botox or something when I am older. I want to try to age gracefully!

I already have plenty of stuff for the outside, like Mary Kay micro-dermabrasion kit, works like a flippin miracle after just one use! I am so in love with it, it was like $58 dollars but will last me forever! You only have to use a little bitty bit at a time. Coffee is ready, I wonder if coffee is bad for you at all, like how smoking gives you wrincles, and tanning hurts your skin- I drink a LOT of coffee, but I cant stop, it is what I look forward to everyday! :-)

Beautiful from the inside out

I am all about natural ways to stay healthy. I don’t want to have to have botox or surgery when I am older so I try to take care of my skin now. A new neat product- R.G. Skin Revitalizer, is a supplement you take daily by mouth to help your skin stay nourished. Now I would still use lotions and such but this is suppose to help your skin stay healthy and firm. Adding that with my morning vitamin could be a cool idea. I already have a few smile lines at 26, I can only imagine what I will look like at 40!

The suppliments are about fourty five dollars and looks like it will be totally worth it in the end. Anything for beauty right? I have been using the Mary Kay skin lotions and micro dermabrasion kit, I love how my skin feels after I do that! I break out a lot less now that I have been using it about 3 times a week, it really cleans your pores. The R. G. Skin product has a bunch of things that are said to help skin nourishment, I may try it out in a few weeks when we have money again!

6 Free Beauty Tips: Hair

hair.gifUse these 6 free beauty tips to make your hair care that much easier:

1. Test the strength of your hair by pulling a strand taut between your fingers. If it snaps easily it has probably been damaged. Be cautious with the use of hair dryers and heating appliances and use a heat-protective product first.

2. For a light, natural looking finish when using hair spray on fine hair, apply the hair spray to the hairbrush, then brush through the hair thus ensuring even distribution.

3. Use a range of volumizing products to build volume into fine, flyaway hair. A volumizing shampoo can do so much, but using a volumizing shampoo, conditioner and styling spray can make a huge difference.

4. Avoid hair frizzing by not brushing your hair when wet. Only use the brush when your hair is somewhere between damp and dry. Then use the blow dryer and a round brush until it is styled and completely dry.

5. To get the maximum effect from hair conditioner, be sure to leave it on the hair for the required time. As it can be difficult to approximate how many minutes, try and have a clock visible so a full 5 minutes is given for the ingredients in the conditioner to do their work. It is also important to work the conditioner well into the hair, almost like giving yourself a head massage. To get good results the product must come in contact with the hair itself.

6. When blow-drying the hair, divide the hair into three or four sections. Clip unwanted sections out of the way to allow you to concentrate on one section at a time. Trying to cope with the whole head at once can be difficult.

What are some of your hair tips?
