I spent some time today updating the site, mainly adding and repairing things. I finally got the search results page fixed, so now you can search for keywords in the blog. I also added a link to the baby registry after several requests to do so. Another addition is the donation button, yes, we are at that point now. :-( I hate having to add that on there, but if we are going to ever be able to have enough money in savings to get a suitable car before the baby comes I had to do it. The goal is to have enough to get a cash car by my 35th week. On our own, without help from family and donations we are looking at only having about 1200 dollars in savings by then. A halfway decent cash car around here runs at least double that, we will have to really shop around when we get the cash together to find something decent to buy.

I have been checking out the Clickbooth Affiliate Network, I like it so far, very easy to set up and use! The other one I use is CJ and the new one is much better in percentages from what I can see so far. I have not added any links in here yet, that would involve getting off the laptop and onto the desktop! LOL Not feeling it right now!

If you have not tried using Affiliate networks in your blogging or website, you really should look into it, it is a great way to make a little extra money here and there. I haven’t updated anything in months, and I get a check from CJ every 30 days for anywhere between 25-45 dollars from income from old posts that have a affiliate link included.

Some of my best converting posts are the detailed reviews I have done on the budgeting product MVelopes that we use to manage money. I have spent a lot of time on those for three reasons, one, I use the product daily and love it, two, I really like helping others and it has made a difference in my life financially so telling others makes me happy! And finally, I make a little money every time someone signs up for it through me! Win win!

It looks pretty promising, if I didn’t have this one already and barely have time for it, I would sign up in a heartbeat- but I don’t wanna waste their space with an unused blog!

I have been blogging for years now and absolutely love it! I find it is a great way to pass the time, and helps me a lot with stress and boredom! I also use blogging as a way to bring in some extra income, especially now with a baby on the way, sooner than later! LOL I am always looking for ways to bring more personality to the blog and plan on posting some new and fun ideas in the next few days. Right now I am using all blogging income to go towards getting things like onsies, blankets, etc that we will need for baby, there is soooo much to get! Our baby shower is in a few weeks and after that we will have a better idea of what we need.

Pay per Post has recently introduced IZEARanks.com, a new and improved ranking and stats site. While it does not show as many details as feedburner or google analytics, it ranks your blog amongst all the other blogs in the system traffic wise.

I have had it tracking my second blog, Caffeine Overload for a while now and it has done amazing, with a rank of only 53 (weekly average) it is awesome to know that that blog is 53′rd out of all the other blogs! See the screen shot for details. That blog has done well every since the 3rd day, it is a hit! While it is not monetized in any way yet, I will be offering up advertising in banners and 125×125 buton ads once the design is finished.

They are giving away 1,000 every week in feb to the blog with the number 1 RR, I am not close enough to get that though! :-( The options are simple, it is definitely easy to use. I like that you can choose what shows; pageviews and visitors or just your RealRank. This blog is not doing as well, it’s real rank is only at 230 or so right now. :-( Once I finish the redesigns and get the network started I will have some major advertising happening.
