We finally got around to getting a life insurance quote through hubby’s work a while back, bad news… he is too big to qualify. He is a ‘husky’ man, definitely over weight, but not to the point of being gross or anything. He really does need to loose weight though, my plan is to go on a diet together once I have the baby. Doing it more for ME than for him, he is pretty anti-diet for some reason, one he has given me is that he is afraid to fail… I can sorta understand that. Since I can’t diet right now, as a matter of fact my doc wants me to GAIN weight right now! LOL

But, when I have the baby and diet, he will have to diet with me so we will only buy healthy food and such and help each other. As well as being able to go on walks and such. At least that is the plan right now. I will feel much more comfortable if we have life insurance for him, since we have a baby coming and he is the bread winner, god forbid something happens.

I am still having fun preparing for the baby, looking into nursery ideas and play time activities, I am loving that we have a big yard so we can look into swing sets and play yards. I should be getting the crib by this weekend, as well as the comforter set, then next weekend is the baby shower, by then the nursery will be mostly complete. I am going to get those wooden letters from wal-mart and spell out her name over the crib, and also paint some oil paintings to match the bedding for the walls. I cant wait!!

This will be the last birthday for him before the baby comes, This Sunday the 29th. So I wanted to do something special, while I would love to look into some sort of New York City travel package for him, (he has never been) I know that is not reasonable. The most I will be able to do is take him to dinner on his birthday. I fel pretty bad that I cant do more, he has been so great through everything and deserves so much more. But what little money we have right now is reserved for saving for a car before the baby comes. I am hoping his mom and dad remember and do a little something, I know everyone is preoccupied with shopping for the baby, so I am worried they will forget- but I dont think so, they are pretty good about that stuff.

I hit the 26 week mark today! Woot, getting closer! We should have the crib and bedding set within a week and the baby shower is on the 6th, after that we will be almost ready! I am getting so nervous now though, I dont want to mess this up, I want a happy, smart, well mannered, book loving, respectful child…. with no tantrums, puberty, bad boyfriends, or life ruining mistakes! LOL Ok, I may be asking for too much on that one, but a mom can hope right?

Joseph and I are already discussing things like bedtime, time outs, homework rules, etc. All getting way ahead of ourselves but it is good to be on the same page. Any advice?

I have been checking out the Clickbooth Affiliate Network, I like it so far, very easy to set up and use! The other one I use is CJ and the new one is much better in percentages from what I can see so far. I have not added any links in here yet, that would involve getting off the laptop and onto the desktop! LOL Not feeling it right now!

If you have not tried using Affiliate networks in your blogging or website, you really should look into it, it is a great way to make a little extra money here and there. I haven’t updated anything in months, and I get a check from CJ every 30 days for anywhere between 25-45 dollars from income from old posts that have a affiliate link included.
