Trouble with Comcast and Vonage

We have been with Comcast for years now, dealing with random shut off’s, bad connection at times, and horrible customer service, paying an outrageous amount monthly, 133.00 for internet and TV. We also have Vonage for 29 a month. All the while new customers are getting the triple play for 99.00 a month, for phone, TV, and Internet. Of late we have had problems with vonage cutting in and out, at this point it is impossible to carry on a conversation. Comcast blames vonage, vonage blames comcast, back and forth, no fix, how fun huh?!?!?

Soooo, I emailed Comcast, and offered them a deal, I would cancel Vonage if they would extend the new prices to us. So instead of paying the two companies a total of 163 a month we would be paying one company just over 100 with taxes and other random fees. I would call them but our phone is useless (we even went out and bought a new phone to see if that was the problem (out $40 on that one!) Anyway, according to the site, I should hear back in about 24 hours, probably more like monday or Tuesday though.

If the email does not work I will try calling from somewhere else, and if that fails I will personally go up there. If I still get no help, we will be shopping for other options for phone, internet and TV. Fun Fun….

Stressing

Every little thing worries me lately, when hubby is a few minutes late… did something happen?!?!; when I feel a little twinge…. is something wrong?!?!?! And so on, I suppose it is normal, though! :-)

Our appointment on the 23′rd should be the one where we get to find out the sex of the baby, I am so exited, I wish I didnt have to wait so long! :-( Even though I am in my second trimester, I am just as tired as before, although not as sick as I was the first 3 months. Thank goodness, but my energy level is absolutely nil! I cant seem to get anything done, I am having daily headaches, tension headaches I am pretty sure, and they are driving me nuts.

The due date is seemingly so far away but it feels sooo close, and I feel very unprepared, even though I know we will have everything we need in time it feels like we are running out of time, even though we are not- I suppose that is pretty normal too though :-)

Just getting through a day is my goal lately, sleep, eat, clean, and do it all over again. Hopefully my energy will return soon!

Updates from the Pregnancy Palace

I have not been updating the blog much lately, things have been ok though. With a lack of blog jobs and a lack of energy and ambition, I just haven’t made it online LOL. The pregnancy is going good, no big developments, my next appointment is April 23rd and we should find out the sex of the baby then, I am so exited!

My friend Tiff spent some time in the hospital, she had a etopic pregnancy that ruptured and they had to do surgery and remove the tube, she ended up needing like 4 liters of blood. It was scary for a bit until they got her to surgery and then it was just recovery time. The tube should have never ruptured, she had been to the er FOUR times in the previous week for bleeding and cramping, they even did ultrasounds and ‘couldn’t find the baby’ anywhere, so instead of assuming etopic like they should have, with her HCG levels being high enough where it would be seen in the uterus; they sent her home diagnosed with a UTI and told her to stop worrying and when she mentioned a etopic they told her self diagnosis is ALWAYS wrong… welllll, come 4 in the morning when she passes out and has to be rushed to the ER with a bottomed out blood pressure and every other symptom of internal hemorrhage they wait until 9am to do another ultrasound where they find— shockingly, tons of blood and a ruptured tube… rushed to Gainsville and into surgery they had to make huge cut and major surgery for something that should have been handled by a small laproscopic incision had the hospitals before caught it. She has an appointment with a lawyer on friday, wish her luck!

Whew… update over!
