Fantasy Football Software

While I have not had the chance to play fantasy baseball, I have played fantasy football, it was really fun. This software looks really cool, it is web based, ranks players based on a predictive modeling software by PhD scientists, has a ton of info on every player, projections, stats, injury reports and all major updated within the software, AND if you use this code - BMC200, you get 10 dollars off.

The winnings in the football game I played were 500 dollars, and that was just a small game of about 20 people, I imagine the payoff for winning in a bigger league would be much higher, and the money would be nice! I would have to have this software, I would never be able to figure it out without it!

My hubby would love something like this to hang out with the guys, I can just see them now, playing into the night- and leaving me alone! LOL Next step is finding a league for him to join and finding friends and getting the money together to try to get him joined- and of course getting the software for him and all set up! It should be a perfect easter surprise!

Found this list while stumbling- quite a few great tips here! Check it out.

1. Start the day with one 8 oz. Glass of water before breakfast. It helps to get you on the right track for the day.
2. Remember your ABCs – All Bites Count.
3. Use a salad plate instead of a dinner plate.
4. To avoid snacking while cooking or baking, drink water or chew gum.

Cysts….

Went to the doctor for an ultrasound, I have to go back in tomorrow, they found a huge cyst behind my cervix- she said about 3 and a half inches around… we are going to talk about it more tomorrow, but from what I know so far the hope is that is goes away on its own and if not it may have to be surgically removed in the second trimester, to keep it from rupturing or twisting. It is scary but I am trying not to worry until our appointment with the actual doctor tomorrow.

I feel kinda crappy today, they gave me pain meds for the cramping and a antibiotic, and the pain meds have me zonked! I am only taking a third of the recommended dosage, I cant imagine how tired I would feel with the whole pill!

Going back to School

Looking into Kettering University as part of this opp, it looks pretty cool, offering engineering co-op programs in subjects like industrial engineering, offering freshman’s a job alternating every 3 months to gain experience and education. I like that idea a lot. Also the US News and World Report has ranked Kettering University as “the #1 University in the nation for Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering” in its annual “America’s Best Colleges Guide for 2008″.

This would be something for my husband, a good major and the ability to work in the field from the start. He would love to go back to school, I don’t think he even know what for yet though, there are so many choices. I am thinking about going back myself after the baby, either nursing or maybe, just maybe, teaching…. I need to see how I feel after I have the baby first though, I may decide to just stay at home full time forever, I wouldn’t mind that.

I would love for Joseph to go back to school though, he is so smart, and even though he has a rockin job now, if something happens his options are limited here, at least with an education he has options.

Useless

I have slept most of the day today, off and on, and when I am not sleeping I am here on the couch watching TV. I tried to pick up but immediately got sick so I gave up. No fun. I was hoping the worst was behind me, guess not. :-( I feel like crap but I suppose it is normal for this time of pregnancy.

I have a dental appointment on monday, I hate going to the dentist, I get so stressed! But you gotta do what you gotta do.
