Ready, Set, Shop!

We got our tax return direct deposited today, we are ready to go with our list of objectives and ready to start shopping. We are being smart though, nothing crazy, nothing outlandish. Just what we needs and money in savings.

We are going to finish paying for our new couch and loveseat ($250), put min $500 in a savings account, Joseph and Rodney are gonna work on the truck, brakes, oil, coolant system flush, etc., get a bedroom suite, and I can’t remember what else right now! I am still on my first cup of coffee! :-)

Cheaper Meds Online

You should check out the online pharmacythat has been online for 8 years, and only sells name brand prescription drugs, at pretty low prices too. I got some phernagin (sp) last night from wallgreens and it is cheaper online. (with insurance I don’t have to pay anyway, but I wanted to check the prices in case I didn’t have insurance) We just recently got me insured, once I got preggo.

It seems like a really cool site, and perfect for those without insurance or lots of money. (And if your not in a hurry to get to the 24 hour pharmacy.) The doctor put me on some prenatal vitamins that are not covered by my insurance, and at wallgreens they are about 40 dollars for a month supply- on the edrug store site it is only 29.00 dollars for a months supply. I think I am still gonna ask to go on something that is covered by my insurance, heck there are a ton of options for prenatal supplements, one has to be covered right?!?

I was hoping I would slide through this pregnancy with no morning sickness, and technically I am, my ‘morning sickness’ is at night! For about 2 hours in the evening I feel really sick, then it goes away for a little while and comes back! :-( It is a tease!

Its Your Turn to fall in Love

image1.gifIts a special time when a couple falls in love. Its almost as the world stop turning and all the stress in the world disappears. It is a time when two people have no other cares other than spending time with each other. Suddenly friendship takes on a whole new meaning and the future looks a whole lot brighter.

So why is falling in love so much fun? I believe it is because couples have the opportunity to find something that not everyone has. It is something that most people dream about, to finally have someone who can see the person who lies beneath all of the stress and hustle that life can bring. To find a friend who is interested in what is going on in that person’s life, and truly want to be with them.

If you are looking for that certain someone, what are some things that can help you fall in love? If we all had the answers to this question we’d be millionaires, but there are things which I believe people can do to help themselves so that when they do meet that certain someone, they will be ready.

Be confident.
When I say be confident, I mean to have confidence in yourself. If you know who you are and have a plan for your own happiness, you won’t be intimidated by other people. It means knowing what you like, how you want to be treated, and knowing that you can accomplish goals which you have set for yourself. Of course it’s possible to have too much, but you can measure that in your own way.

Learn to listen.
Sometimes people just want to talk, and all the right words can be said simply by listening and not saying anything. It is a way for you to show interest in something that means so much to the other party. Ask questions, let them talk and feel important. There will be plenty of time to talk about yourself, but show the other person that you care by simply listening to the things which they have to say. Sometimes, no words can go a long way.

Be nice. We have all heard the phrase that nice guys finish last, well, if you are looking into falling in love; think about how you want to be treated. The golden rule can provide you with more direction than you may think. You will see that in doing this, people will notice your kindness; these types of things never go unnoticed.

These are just a few ideas to help you prepare yourself to fall in love. It can happen at anytime, which is the beauty of this life. Once you find it, hold on to it and never let it go because there is nothing like being in love.

Playing at the Boss’s House

Joseph spent much of the weekend at his boss’s house working on his computer and playing video games. They did get a chance to play some golf with his new clubs, pretty like the Mizuno golf clubs here. Joseph was pretty good, I didn’t even try, I was too tired! But watching was fun I guess. In California Rick and I used to play golf pretty often, it was a great stress reliever.

Road Trip!

Since travel will become extremely difficult in later months, Joseph and I are talking about taking a trip in my second trimester. A real trip, where you actually need luggage, not just a duffel bag! We have never taken one of those. We are thinking about a ‘tour’ of Florida, to visit the cool places one or the other of us has yet to see, like the keys and daytona beach for me, and st. augistine for him. We are gonna get a retal car and stay at one nice hotel and the rest will be cheap motels! LOL We are not made of money yet!
