Friends for you and your Pet

Check out Anamigo, the community for pet lovers, it is pretty cool, they got some great celebrity face time at the Sundance Film Festival. I think it is awesome to get to interact with others that love their pets just as much as you do. Being able to talk and tell cute stories and pictures about your babies would be awesome! I plan on joining for my fishies!

I think it would be fun to have a pet play date! I really mis our two babies, Princess and Harley… but I hear they are doing really well with the new owners and it was worth it to get such a nicer bigger place. As much as I miss them, I don’t miss the tiny mobile home we were living in! The new place may not allow pets, but it is so much bigger, cleaner and easy to keep clean with so much storage and room. I love the yard and the neighbors, plus the school district is nicer here, so when we do have kids they will have a good school. Although I plan on homeschooling after like 4th or 5th grade, that or private school. Kids are just too bad here for me to want to send them to high school here.

Keeping the Romance Alive and well

The best ways to keep the romance alive are often free or low cost. It doesn’t have to be a car or a huge shopping spree, it can be a simple handwritten love note, or a little surprise flower arrangement. Here are a few more tips I have found that would really help you to keep the romance going in your relationship.

Making a homemade card, with a beautiful poem or letter to your loved one, expressing how you feel, and most importantly, how much they mean to you and you don’t ever want to take them for granted.

Get creative and hide the gifts in strange places, concert ticket under the pillow, flowers in the fridge, jewelry in a shoe, etc. That will make the gift even more special than just giving it to them.

Make up a special occasion. Declare a ‘Love week” and every day of that week do something special, try picnics, breakfast in bed, brunch, a museum, candlelit dinner, make a cd with ‘your’ songs and dance all night.

Make your own monthly resolution, once a month buy a little something and hide it in a special place. Doing this on the same day every month is even more special, and choosing the date of your first date, wedding, or other special day.

Keeping the romance is not about money, it is about the little things, saying “I love you” or holding hands, opening the door, and even a quick kiss when you walk in the door. It dies not take much, just a little effort.

Going Away for the weekend!

My friend Tiff and I are about to walk out the door, we are heading to Jacksonville to pick up her brother from the airport and spend the weekend in Jacksonville. We are going to the mall, to see the Juno movie- it isn’t playing in our theater. We are also going to go to Denny’s for buffalo chicken and probably the beach! I am so exited.

I do have some articles preewritten this morning set to post over the weekend so there will be no break in posting! Be back Sunday!

Copy DVD Gold Review

I have been looking for a DVD backupprogram to help organize and burn the contents of my hard drive, and to burn the dvd movies on the computer to a DVD disk. The program is only 49.99 which is cheaper than the last one I got last year and has a ton more features. You can even go from dvd to ipod, zune, and the psp. You can download it for a seven day trial. It says it works with 2000, XP, and vista- and that is an accomplishment. I have a hard time finding programs like this for Vista.

You can get it either online at thousands of electronic and computer retail chains throughout the world including the U.S., Canada, South America and Europe. You can even get it to a ring tone! I download a lot of movies online like through Blockbuster and would love to make a copy of some of those. We had one before that cost more and didn’t work half the time! It was pitiful! Looks like a great product and they are doing substantial advertising for the product, and if retail chains carry the product than it has to be reputable. Well, that isn’t always true, I have bought programs from Office Depot that were absolute crap. I would try the 7 day trial before buying it though.
