No Morning Sickness yet

So far so good… I have not felt sick, well earlier I had a feeling like I was gonna be sick for about 20 minutes and then it passed, thank goodness! Maybe I will get lucky and I won’t get sick at all, I hope so!

Tiff and I did a lot of errands today, insurance, looking for rentals, the Medicaid office and we topped it all off with lunch at the Country Buffet! Yummy and cheap! Hopefully the insurance card will get here soon so I can get to the doctor and get a early ultrasound! I will post it here fist thing!!

New Baby New House

Now that we are expecting we are buckling down on the whole saving for a house thing. I have been looking into what all expenses involved and trying to figure out what it all means. One thing I learned in Real Estate school was about title insurance costs. Title insurance covers you against any losses that can happen if the title has defects or problems attached that you find out about later.

We have one title company in town and the cost seems reasonable, cheaper than in Gainesville from what I have read. And the title company is also the title insurance company, even though we have a separate insurance company from the title company. How confusing! Then adding in taxes, closing, mortgage fees, etc… I am hoping to find a real estate person that will not only do it but explain it. I don’t want someone that just expects us to sign at the dotted line.

It will still be about a year or two before we can buy a home but I want to be prepared and know what we are getting into before we get our hopes up. I am trying to save at least 10 thousand dollars to have as a down payment. at 416 a month saved it will take 2 years… I dont think that is gonna happen… maybe more like 3 years I guess!

We are both so exited, and a little scared, but more exited! Here we go! It is so perfect too, it waited till we got into our new place and Joseph got his latest promotion and raise, we have a whole room to paint and decorate! It will be so exiting! No morning sickness yet, and I hope there won’t be!

How to say “I love you” without saying a word

love1.jpgOf all the words in the English dictionary, love is one of the most overused words. The phrase “I love you” is even more cliché in that it doesn’t carry the full weight of the meaning as much anymore. And while it is still important to say this to your partner it is even more important to show your loved one you mean it. Actions always speak louder than words especially when they are full of the tiny details that express so much. You should try to show this every day in some way, not just on holidays and anniversaries.

Here are 5 little ways to show your spouse, boyfriend, girlfriend, partner or whoever that you really do love them!

  1. Try to remember your first ever date, and on Valentines day or any other day you choose, try to recreate it. Try to remember what you wore, ate and did and try to get the date as close as possible. A nice touch is to call ahead to the restaurant and have some flowers and candles delivered and set up on the original table.
  2. Get out a cookbook and cook them a romantic dinner, it does not have to be fancy, just from the heart. Setting the table with candles and flowers with some soft romantic background music will be a wonderful addition. Remember helping to clean up after will help keep the good mood alive!
  3. Jewelry can be a very romantic gift, not just something expensive, something unique and meaningful can come across as so much more romantic than just something expensive.
  4. Do your research online or at the library about the art of sensual massage and then put the learned knowledge to the test with special oils and soft music on your loved one.
  5. One of my favorites is doing something with your partner that they enjoy and you don’t necessarily like, if he likes Sunday football, swallow your disdain, order some pizzas, get out some chips and prepare to spend the day cheering along with the game. This can mean so much to both a guy or a female, it is all about sacrifice.

These are just a few ways to show your love, digging deep and coming up with your own little ways can be so special and result in great rewards and romance!

Walking in the Cold

I don’t know if it is normal or not, but when I am outside in the cold for more than like 5 minutes the sides of my face and neck start to really hurt, like my lymph nodes are on fire, it is so weird and annoying. I have been like that since I was a teenager, anyone else experience this? In order to work out in the winter I will need to get a treadmill, the pain is like a headache in my face and neck, and it keeps hurting for like an hour even when I go back inside- weird huh?

Any of yall have weird medical kinks?
