Good deeds are rewarded, I truly believe that, having watched Pay it Forward yesterday, this post is even more perfect. As today is the Bloggers Unite day, and we are all to unite and do an act of kindness and write about it. I love doing good deeds, it makes me feel better about myself. In Baton Rouge I used to make big pots of soup and fill up several butter containers and add in change for a soda, a spoon and a few napkins, I would then drive around and pass them out to the various homeless people on street corners.

Both my husband and I love to help others, be it donating to the bell ringers at wal-mart, or picking a paper tree off the helping hand tree and buying Christmas gifts for a child. We also got a paper tree off of the nursing home tree and donated slippers to the home based on instructions on the tree. It is much more rewarding to do that than to buy something for ourselves. I have also been helping my friend Tiffanie through a hard time by driving her around, giving her food and cigarettes, and just being there for her. I even gave some money to a employee at Jiffy Lube so he could get lunch that day.

If we all unite and do something good, the would could be a better place.
