Could You Pass the Love Test?

heart.gifDo you love your man? If so, head on over to the Love Test and take the quiz. I just finished, it was really cute! They ask questions like “Would you make love to him? Would you really, Eve?” That made me giggle a little! I was pretty relieved when I got the result, we are perfect Soulmates!

LoveTest Questionnaire Analysis:

Joseph is your perfect soulmate, Eve!
There are always ups and downs in every relationship. Although you think you know a lot about your partner already, you might want to spend some more quality time together. Love, trust, understanding, affection, honesty, tolerance and loyalty are very important factors for a successful relationship. Think about what’s still missing in your relationship and how you could improve it.

The site is great, they have a “Self Help” section with a bunch of books, my favorite is the three book set on How to drive your man wild! With a money back guarantee, you don’t see that on ebooks anymore. I like that. Then the Quiz Central has a ton of quizzes, I am a quiz addict! If I used my space I would be posting the quiz results everywhere, thats what MySpace is for huh? LOL Posting a lot of things no one cares about :-) Just kidding, mySpace can be a great tool and outlet.

I took the Love Fortune test, another one, and I like the results- check them out:

Eve, here’s your love fortune result!
1. You are deeply in love with, or soon will be with Joseph.
2. You are a mellow person but, you like to party.
3. Eve, you have lots of love in your life and most likely you currently have a crush.
4. You have a pretty good love life going for you but it will soon grow.
5. You like making out and parties.
6. Carol is one of your best friends.
7. It will take you 6 days to get together with Joseph.
8. You like making out and parties.
9. You are wild person and you love to make out.
10. Your wish: “To be able to go to the Postie Con!”
This wish will only come true if you really believe in it!

Tooo cute! Check it out and post your results on your blog, then let me know! We can turn this into a meme!

10 Questions to ask Yourself

We heard as children that we could be anything we wanted to be. And while alot of you have become that, but I also know there are some who are not what they wanted to be as a child. And that is ok. Who trusts a 6 year old to make your life decisions anyway. I remember my dad saying that no matter what I chose to do, that I should be the best person I could. And I didn’t do that, with much of anything between 15 and on up until probably 22 (not as bad at 22 as I was at 15 by any means. But I have made alot of poor decisions, well, a ton.) :-)

The video below is one of my favorites, the first time I heard it I was driving away from the apartment Joseph and I had rented, it had been broken into and they took alot, threw the rest in the dumpster and the manager was usless in the situation. We lost alot and I was freaking out, then this song came on, and it made my day.

I am however much more mature, married (again) and starting to look at things differently, reading self help books, going to therapy, and hoping to get on the right foot with my mom and siblings. It doesn’t matter where you are in live you should always aspire to be better, while enjoying where you are presently. I spent so much of my teen years just wanting the ‘next’ stage, so I didn’t live in the present and I missed a lot.

Take a look at these questions and really dig deep for the answer, if your like me and have no idea where to go from here, these should help you narrow it down.

  1. What do you really want? What are some of your goals? Money, peace, forgiveness, and health are some of the things I want.
  2. Should I really change? This depends, if it is you that wants to change, then do so, get therapy, research how to get where you want to be. However, if you are pleased with your current situation, but other are not, I would say no. True family will still love you when you make decisions that oppose their ideas of what you should do or be, It may take time, depending on the situation, but if you are truly happy in your situation, wait it out.
  3. What’s the bright side in all of this? Refer to the song above, even though things are not perfect right now, they will get better if you believe it will, thats where the positive affirmations come in.
  4. Am I comfortable with what I’m doing? Do you feel content at what you are doing, or do you feel shame? What paths can you take to feel more content? Whiting an apology letter, going back to school. If your not comfortable, change it till you are.
  5. Have I done enough for myself? Sometimes we help too much, we end up loosing track of us. Take a break, a bubble bath, a stroll in a park, something just for you, you will be able to be a much better caretaker if you are happy.
  6. Am I happy at where I am today? This is a tricky question, seems like the answer would be the same as the one for if you are comfortable, but it is not. You can be comfortable in a situation, but not happy. If you are too afraid to leave an unhappy situation, just because you are comfortable, you are lying to yourself.
  7. Am I appealing to the opposite sex? This isn’t about what your spouse says, this is what you say. If you look in the mirror, what do you see? If you don’t like it, change it. Join a gym, got for walks, get your nails done, whatever will make you feel comfortable in your on body.
  8. How much could I have? If you did the right thing in relation to your body, money, career, how much would be possible? Take my husband for example, if he keeps working where he is and as hard as he has been, then he has the potential to become the lead salesman, and put on salary. As for me, if I keep blogging as I have been, and not run out of ideas or motivation, I may be able to make a decent income from it.
  9. What motivates me? What tricks do you do that help you stay motivated? I personally look at homes and cars, that keeps me motivated in my career, and I get on the scale daily to reminding me not to eat sweets. Find your motivator and take advantage of it.
  10. What Really Makes You Tick? What do you feel the happiest doing, what do you find to be the worst task or person? Is it possible to get rid of the negatives and keep the good? Sometimes it’s not, in that case, you need to try to change your outlook on the topic.

    So, what makes you tick?

Are you addicted to Coffee?

drinking.pngCoffee has been a everyday thing for the last few years, I used to never drink it, but now I cant start my day without it! Coffee addiction is probably the best of all addictions to have, it’s better than crack! I got this little quiz in a email a few days ago, it is pretty cute. And as a special suprise I have a 5% off Coupon Code: CFL from the discount coffee store, CoffeeForLess.com, my favorite brew from there is the “Fog Lifter” reminds me of New Orleans.

Best Planners for the Ladies

I know I talk all the time about using to-do lists and planners, but I have not let you know about some of the best ones out there for moms and wives. With a little help from Amazon and Redbook, I was able to track down some super functional planners for you!

mom.pngLets start with the Kitchen Folio by MomAgenda, not only is it pretty, but it has folders and sections for everything, including 24 tabbed clear sleeves to protect important papers! At the Momagenda website it is 30.00, on Amazon it starts at 15.00

busy.pngAnother one I like is BusyBodyBook Personal & Family Organize with five individual and spacious columns provide Mom and each family member with their own and designated place to plan and schedule their own routines and activities while coordinating with one another, side by side. No double booking, overbooking or overlooking. Great for a family calendar. It is $17 at the product web site and only 11.53 at amazon.

cross.pngThere is also the CrossItOff.list that does a planner in a whole new way; “CrossItOff.List is divided into two sections that will help you manage your busy life in a way that works for you. Section one is a clean and simple canvas that’s perfect for jotting down lists, phone numbers, appointments and tasks. Section two provides you with sticky notes that will help you effectively delegate tasks to others. Sticky notes are in duplicate so you can remember what you asked others to do.” Only 9.95 @ Amazon.

So there you have it, some of my favorite pretty planners. And to finish it off, I have some final advice on time management;

  • Make sure you have a central calendar for the family, otherwise you could easily have a double booked event and be in a pinch.
  • Make a routine of papers and checking calendars, for example every day before dinner deal with permissions slips, events, and making sure the bag is packed for tomorrow.
  • Have a main to-do list for things that are not time sensitive, such as “hire a painter” or birthday shopping.
  • Say no - stop overfilling your schedule, learn to say that you need to check your schedule and stick to it, if you have other plans, say no.
  • Make time for you - make sure to schedule in some time for you, whether it is getting your nails done or just a hot bubblebath, you need some ‘you time’.
