Having a ‘Day’
Some days when someone asks me how my day is I have been known to answer simply “is’t a day”. It is a term I don’t have to use often, but I do today. While I am not going to go into great detail, let’s just say I am stressed out, tired, and pissed. I spent the day at the Doctors office and got nothing done, that place is more backwards than anything. I have to go back tomorrow morning. I am also swamped with work and not getting anything done that I want to get done because I am too stressed to focus on anything.
To top it all off, my wondeful husband called me in the middle of the day and asked if I would plug in his XBox controller to start charging…… ummmmmm, OK… sure it only took a minute, but come on? You want ME to plug in your controller so you can play your XBox while I work. Yeah, nice hun. Real Nice. Thats what happens every night, he plays XBox while I work. Then when I get done and am ready to come watch tv, he gets up to do the dishes…. ok, well, aren’t we lovely? Why cant he wash the dishes while I work? I work all day while he is at work, then I am still working when he gets home and he gets to play xbox. I appreciate him doing the dishes, I really do, but why can’t he do them while I work? Why does he get to play everyday?I don’t get to play at all. Grrr. I’m just bratty today!
