I just ordered a photo enlargement from Canvas on Demand to get the picture below printed onto a 16×20 canvas! I think it is going to be beautiful! And this time I promise I will not tell Joseph! LOL I think it will be a perfect companion to the watercolor of our wedding photo! I cant wait till we have another 20 years of photos to line up with these!

OMG! Someone give her a raise! LOL I can understand telling it as part of the news, BUT not as a lead story, over people dying and real news. Go Mika Brzezinski!!! Not that I dont like to know what is going on with Paris, I am as addicted as some others, but I think that kind of news should be on E! or extra, not the morning news. Just my opinion! LOL What do you all think?

Well, last night I went to the salon to get my eyebrows waxed, and while I was doing that Joseph went to the Game store to look around. I finished up and went over to meet him and decided on what his birthday present would be…. an Xbox 360…. we ended up spending $372 on this refurbished system with a hard drive, controllers, etc. He is so unbelievably happy. I, on the other hand, while happy he is happy, spent the evening rearranging envelopes of money to try to make it work. It worked… cleared out our savings and spending money, and pushed getting a new bed wayyy off, but it worked, we can still pay our bills.

But the upside is that he got what he really wanted for the first time in a long time, I have never been able to get him real presents for Christmas of holidays since we met, so this makes up for that and probably next year too! LOL And his parents will be sending money so that will help replenish the bed fund LOL

So, I just talked to the maintenance man here and he said that if I ask the apt manager that maybe, just maybe, THEY will buy and install a new window AC unit for the bedroom… AWESOME! If we did it we would be basically throwing that money away when we leave, as it would be permanently installed- well worth it to be able to sleep comfortably though! I am trying to get through to them now but with no luck, voicemail- and I have a feeling I want to ask this in person anyway. Maybe I will go ask when we pay rent. LOL Our central AC unit is probably 20 years old, and while it blows it isn’t cold nor does it even begin to cool the house down, so they put in a window unit in the living room before we even moved in (which means they KNOW the central unit sucks), and that window unit works ok for the living room and such, but does not even BEGIN to touch the back of the house. I have been sleeping on the couch the last few nights it is so darned hot back there!
