I’ve lost 8 pounds!

Man, this gym thing is working! I have been going on Tuesdays and Thursdays for the last 2 weeks or so, doing 20 minutes of treadmill and 30 minutes on the machines. I have not changed my diet any really, I still snack on Hershey’s and such, but I am officially back down to 190…. from the scary 198! I want to get down to like 160 or so, where I used to be years ago, but I would be ok with 175. I mean, I am 5′9, so I don’t want to be all sick looking! LOL

So lets hope the weight keeps dropping!

Eve, it’s awesome that you’ve lost 8 pounds in two weeks — congrats!

I’ve also been trying to lose weight without making too many drastic changes in my diet, but it’s not going that well for me. I’m even walking at a brisk pace for 30 minutes every other day, but am still not dropping the pounds. Maybe I need to look into joining a gym!

Anyway, good luck on hitting your overall goal!

thanks J.E.! The gym seems to be helping, plus I switched from Diet soda to just water (unless we are eating out then I get diet coke! LOL So I think that is helping too. Good luck to you too!

Excellent news. I’m hoping all this walking will kick and and help me lose some weight! Not ready to give up the Diet Coke, but I alternate with Crystal Light sometimes

Eve, congratulations on dropping 8 pounds!

You made a wise decision by switching to water….I drink between 100 - 120 oz of plain water each day. It’s vital to your health, besides the soda contains sodium (and a bunch of other additives) which serves to slow your weight loss.
