“This is my entry to evilwoobie’s Valentine Share Your Love Story Contest.”

So, what is my love story? I met my husband through work, we were both working at Client Logic as technical support representatives for Dell, I was on my third day of training when I saw him walk by the window, I was instantly enthralled! He was such a cutie, well, I had become friends with this flamboyantly wonderful gay guy named Patrick, he and I made a bet on who would get Joseph first LOL I still had not met him and didn’t think he even knew who I was, but apparently he had noticed me too and the rumor mill at Client Logic was roaring!

Soooo, I am on break on the smoke deck with a bunch of other people from training, and we were talking about him, I was trying to describe him to find out if anyone new him and I used my famous hand gestures to show ‘you know, the bigger guy with the goatee and always wears a beanie?” Well, he walked out about this time and my wonderful trainer, Matt comes out with, “yeah, him?” And points to Joseph… Joseph just smiled, I ran! LOL, ran past him, to the bathroom, I was so embarrassed! It was like high school all over again! I finally come out of the bathroom and he is standing there smiling, I just rush back to class, like an idiot.

A few days later I get the courage to go talk to him, after everyone is telling me that he likes me too and was just a wimp, so I go up to him, and actually asked him on a date! I had never done that before! And guess what? He stood me up! I was soooo mad, I didn’t talk to him for a week, ignored him, cold shoulder, etc.

Finally I let him talk to me and he gave me his excuse, “he had to break up with someone…” OK… you had a girlfriend and you didn’t tell me this when I asked you out??!?! He said he was too flustered when I asked him out to say anything but yes! LOL How sweet!

So I let him take me out to Waffle House, our first date, it went great, and ever since we have been inseparable, well, there were some rough patches, but those are for another day LOL We even had our one and 2 year anniversary’s at Waffle House. And we got married on the same date as our first ever date… Awwwwwww… now I am gonna cry! He is my true love, and we even had a time where I went away for a while, but I still came back, “if you love someone, let them go, if they come back they are yours forever…” something like that. :-)
