I have this new extension for firefox, called stumble Upon, something like that, anyway, you pick a category and see random user submitted sites, it is too addictive, I have been ’stumbling the ‘bizzarre/oddity’ category today while I am sitting on hold and this site - Bannana Guard - showed up, part of me thinks it is a joke, just because I am like that LOL, but it seems like a real product, and I can see the usefulness, I just cant get past the name…..

Also just ’stumbled’ on -  Go2Web2.0 - it is pretty neat, it list all the Web 2.0 sites there are– I am pretty sure they are all there, there are a TON! I had no Idea there were so many, I may go check a few out when I have a chance.

Check out this article on what women want in a home,  where a builder did something AMAZING- he not only listened to the womens wants, but he DID them! LOL

“Shane Homes had the revolutionary idea of asking women what they wanted in a home,” said Joanne Thomas Yaccato, a Toronto consultant and author who advised the company on female consumers. “The revolutionary part is that they not only listened, they actually built the darn thing.”

About time they realize that what we want is impartant too! It talkes about how alot of places are finally coming around to listening to women.

Well, this is horrible, but I will post anyway, shortly after my ex-husband and I got married, we wanted to throw a big Halloween party, we were about to move out of our current apartment so it was empty except for a radio, bed, and a couch, so we printed flyer’s, spent TWO days decorating, got a DJ, bartender, the works, we were going to have an amazing party…..

then, the day before the party, the police pull in, they found out, see, we were going to have a cover charge of like 2.00 to cover beer and food, apparently, in KS, that is illegal! Sooo, they told us the party was off and that we should not be home tomorrow. So the next night, we sat out in the parking lot for a few minutes to see what would happen, sure enough the cops were there waiting too, we counted over 100 people in about 30 minutes try to show up, it would have been nuts. We ended up being glad we didn’t have it as the number of people was outrageous and alot of minors showed up. We never tried that again!

Even thought the party never happened, I love that memory, I really did an over the top decorating job, and we found out that the apartments never repainted inside, wich we thought they would, so the invisible glow in the dark paint I used in the living room walls showed up to the new tenents thier first night, luckly it was all PG and they repainted the next day!

I used to be so much fun! :-) This halloween we are going to sit at home and watch scary movies. Nothing like relaxing on a work night! LOL

Right now I am running a few extensions that I love! I am looking for a few more to replace the ones I lost when we reformatted. Here is my list so far. Fee free to suggest one I don’t have yet! I am addicted to cool gadgets!

• ReloadEvery (reloads the page every 5-60 seconds when you turn it on - I use for work)
• Performancing 1.3 (an in browser blog tool to write posts without having to go log in! Time saver!)

• SpellBound Development - new version of spell bound with a inline spell checker.

There you have it, my little list of extensions, I am still trying to find the old google PR extension that I had before, I only seem to remember to look for it when I am not at the computer! LOL

Wow, I have been looking at my stats for this blog and I am seeing alot of incoming searches on parameds.com, so I thought I would make it a bit easier. If you are looking for more info on parameds and havent been to the WAHM.com boards, here is a thread all about them - Parameds is Hiring. (please do not post there asking for the email address to apply, if you read the thread it is posted on there about 50 times, but people keep asking the same questions. The best advice I can give you is to start on page one and read all the pages before you ask questions on there (if you do that you will see what I mean about 3 pages in. :-)

If you have been there and you just want more information. Feel free to comment or email me and I will do my best to answer your questions as well as I can without breaking the ‘confidentiality’ rule.  It is a great company to work with, although alot of work, full time, and worth every second. :-) So hopefully, those of you coming about parameds will find your answers here or there, good luck!
